  When I first went to this store for service (I found them on a Google search because I was new to NC), there was a gentleman there who was the epitome of professionalism and I don't remember his name. I purchased service and a phone only to have the phone dysfunction after a couple of months. When I reached out to the other gentleman (Bara), he promised me another phone. That was in July. I kept asking, hoping to continue to support a black-owned business, but after a while I felt as if I was a bother and was being dismissed because we developed a friendship. I finally went back to the store in early September (I was living in Whitsett at the time) and another promise was made to replace my phone in "a few days". It never happened. I made my last and final visit to this store a couple of weeks ago in DECEMBER...and he promised, yet again, another phone in "a few more days". I was done. I explained that I'd been patient and reminded him of the previous promises and he looked at me as if I were crazy! He was busy entertaining someone else in the store, rather than making sure that his PAYING customer was being serviced. He gives me a phone (it was just to pacify me) that has no memory, less than the phone that I already had and sent me on my way. I took the phone back the very next day and took an older Boost phone, just so that I can have a usable phone. I have a business and a phone is a MUST. When I walked in the same person was just hanging out, groceries on the floor, another behind the counter on his cell phone having a conversation...it was crazy! I returned the phone and only received the cost of the phone -no taxes.
  I don't know what happened to the guy who was there when I first visited, but the professionalism is sorely lacking. I made a full purchase, no haggle, even asked about a memory card that was to be ordered, but never was.
  I will NEVER do business with these folks again. You would think that they would want to raise the standard in that neighborhood, bit I see otherwise. The painting on their door is also tacky and doesn't exude a professional look nor does it go with the Boost decor and branding. I just expected better service and have been disappointed. Bara DID tell me, in December, with a chuckle, that I COULD have sent the phone back to the manufacturer. Wow, I've been having problems with the phone since early July and I purchased it at the end of May. Let that sink in. I've reported them to Boost and will be making a BBB report as well.
