  Do not utilize this shop/person for any type of rear end work. I spent $2,780.00 with him to build a 12 bolt Chevelle rear end. The first time I took the car out it had a bad whining on deceleration. I took the rear end out and returned it to this shop to have it fixed. I was told the crush sleeve had failed and that he put in a new one and had checked the gears again for proper mesh. I returned the rear end to the speed shop and had it put back in. The rear end still had the whining on deceleration. I then took the car to East Coast Gear in Raleigh and they determined the pinion had excessive slack and would need to be torn down and fixed. I then had the rear end taken back out and had East Coast Gear take it apart. They found the gears were shot and it was improperly built, shims were improperly installed, poor mesh, and loose pinion. So loose it destroyed the yoke. From original build to when East Coast Gear fixed it the car had a total of 20 miles put on it. How can a rear end go bad in 20 miles???. I had to spend an additional $942.00 to have it properly repaired. DO NOT use this shop for anything.
