  Greensboro College professors, please have respect for other people's time. It is understood that extenuating circumstances do come up...but if a class starts at 8:00am and you send an email delaying and/or canceling the class at 8:03am that is disrespectful, inconvenient and unprofessional. It takes less than two minutes to send an email. If you know you're going to be late, have a sick child at home or you're sick yourself...don't hesitate to email your students. Some of us commute just like you do. This has happened to me several times with several different professors and it is getting frustrating. I'm tired of losing sleep, wasting my gas and wasting my time all for a "sorry for the last minute email." GROW UP AND DO BETTER.
