  My son went to their summer camp for about a month this summer.
  What was advertised during the information session was a technology/science camp where actual Guilford county teachers would be present, and it would be a continuum of learning without the rigorous schedule of school. What happened was there were teenagers watching the kids (to each his own but I have teenage relatives that could have babysat if that's what I wanted). All they did was watch movies. When I picked my son up the adults were at the front and not in the back with the children. I sent my SO there to do a pop up in the middle of the day thinking that maybe this was the set up for the end of the day but my SO confirmed that there were several adults in the front area and teenagers watching the kids in the classrooms. This was not how they explained things. I felt bad because I took a lot of time trying to find a good place for him where he wouldn't feel like he was in school but could still learn and keep his mind fresh during the summer. The last straw was the last week he was enrolled and he repeatedly told me that the teenagers would constantly tell them to shut up when they got rowdy or loud. I took my son out and found a better match for us. I cannot speak to the church experience but I will say that the pastors and staff seemed very nice but what they advertised is not what they provided as far as summer day camp services.
