  I went to three jewelry stores when trying to resize and fix a family engagement ring so i could propose to my girlfriend. The first (a local chain) said it would be several weeks since they use outside repair people and would cost thousands. The second (a national chain) refused to repair it because they didn't sell it. I came to Custom Jewelers after that. They said they could have it done in about a week since they have jewellers there and with the repairs, resizing, and cleaning it was well under a grand. A great place could not recommend highly enough.
