  On Saturday November 25, 2017 I made a service call to diagnosis my malfunctioned gas furnace heater. The technician arrived spent probably 10 minutes on the attic. He didn't even had a flash light and used his cellphone light to look at the stuffs. He told me furnace gas valve is malfunctioning and quoted $600 to replace the valve. As he didn't had the valve with him he charged me $80 service fee+$16.67 tax for the 10 minutes he spent at my home. He mentioned if he have to come back again that would be additional $96.67 service fee along with material cost for gas valve $600 approximately. I was so suspicious about this tech person. So I called another service technician from different service provider, he told me there was loose wire on the board and he fixed it immediately. He mentioned there is no reason to replace any parts on my unit too.
